Manufacturing Careers Campaign for Students.

Synopsis: A proposal written in fourth quarter 2004 for a program, as yet to be funded, to create a partnership between the Tooling & Manufacturing Association and Education to Careers of the Chicago Public School System. The goal of the program is to recruit students for machine technology programs by promoting manufacturing careers. The project will increase the perception that manufacturing careers are rewarding and thereby increase the number of students enrolling in manufacturing-related classes. The awareness campaign will include students, parents, teachers, counselors, administrators and companies.
